Debit Card

  • A debit card and ATM card combined. Can be used at most ATMs. Also referred to as a check card.
  • Backed by Visa -- Accepted everywhere Visa is accepted.
  • When your purchase is being authorized at a merchant, the purchase amount is compared to the total available in a member's checking, savings, and Anytime Access accounts. Also, because of the way Debit Card transactions are handled through Visa, it could take up to a week for a purchase to be posted to your account at the Credit Union.
  • ATM Transactions: To avoid ATM charges, use ATMs that are part of the MoneyPass or CO-OP Network systems. Look for those signs on the ATMs. To locate those ATMs, click here.
  • If non-MoneyPass or non-CO-OP Network ATMs are used, there is a $1.00 fee per transaction.

To report a lost or stolen credit or debit card, call: 1.800.234.5354

ATM Cash Card

For members who prefer not to use the Debit Card but still want the ATM service, we offer a separate ATM card.

Note about making Balance Inquiries on a non-Credit Union ATM:
On Credit Union ATMs in St. Cloud and Sartell, we allow our members to get ATM balance inquiries on both their checking and savings accounts. We cannot guarantee that you can do this on any other ATMs. Most other financial institutions allow ATM balance inquiries on either checking or savings, and most often it's on checking. This restriction by other financial institutions applies to both cards -- our combination Debit/ATM card and ATM Cash Card.

Visa Gift Card

  • Prepaid disposable VISA debit card
  • Use anywhere VISA cards are accepted.
  • Purchase them from any Credit Union Teller.
  • Cost: $3.95
  • More convenient than giving cash -- the recipients of the card can use them in person, on the phone, or online.

You have several options for ordering VISA Gift Cards:

  • In person at the Credit Union
  • By phone
  • Online -- Online orders have a slightly higher fee because the cards are personalized with the recipient's name.
  • Card recipients have 24/7 access to their account information, by phone or online. Phone: 1.866.244.5360
  • They can check their balances and transaction history, report lost or stolen cards, and settle disputes.
  • Click the link below for more information. You will be leaving the Credit Union web site -- http://www.libertygiftcard.com/.

Health Savings Account (HSA) Card

The HSA Card is a debit card attached to your Health Savings Account at the Credit Union. Use your card as needed when you make payments at your doctor's office. It's a VISA card, so it's accepted world-wide. For complete information, and to order your card, visit the Credit Union in St. Cloud or Sartell.

PayCard (from MasterCard)

The PayCard works just like a debit card:

  • Use for ATM cash withdrawals or for purchases online or at merchants wherever debit cards are accepted.
  • Use Bill Pay feature on the PayCard site.
  • Alerts - Receive email or text Alerts when funds have been deposited to your PayCard account or when your balance gets low. You create the Alerts on the PayCard web site.
  • Monitor your PayCard account’s activity online. You can also do a balance inquiry at an ATM.
  • You can ask for cash back when you make purchases at merchants.
  • Transfer funds between PayCards or from a credit union or bank account to your PayCard -- you'll need to stop by the credit union.
  • The PayCard is reloadable at St. Cloud Federal Credit Union. Direct Deposits can also be placed on your PayCard.
  • Monitor your PayCard account online at: http://www.mypaycardconnect.com/  (You will be leaving the Credit Union web site.) You must use only Internet Explorer at the mypaycardconnect.com web site.
